MOVIE NIGHT

Do you know that an entire generation of Americans has never been to a drive-in movie?! Ashland Main Street is changing that statistic and helping to broaden the lives of children in our area by hosting drive-in movie nights downtown! We have taken our popular walk-in movie nights and super-sized them. No, we didn't build a new drive-in movie theater on Main Street- we have a GIANT inflatable movie screen we set up downtown in parking lot B (right behind the tax office), where we show great movies all summer! Of course we have pop and popcorn- you can't watch a movie without those!

Admission is only $5 per vehicle- stuff your cars full of friends and family and takes in a movie under the stars! Go to our events page and calendar to find the dates and movies this year, and make plans to share an American tradition with your family, and to start a new tradition in downtown Ashland!

CAR SHOW

Do you like cars? Do you like shopping downtown? Do you like family friendly-events that bring the entire community together? Do you like to support local charities? If you said "yes" to any of these, we'll see you at the 6th Annual Downtown Dream Cruise and Car Show on Saturday, July 9th. This all-day affair brings thousands of people to downtown Ashland, as we fill ALL of downtown with cars, motorcycles, and trucks. We have music, food courts, corn hole, and a 50/50 raffle, as well as a downtown full of amazing shopping; pretty much a great day full of fun for the entire family. And the best part?

All of the money raised for this event goes to our local Shop With a Cop charity, which enables unprivileged children to have a merry Christmas. In five years, we have raised over $40,000 for the children of our community. Last year, our Shop With a Cop coordinator, Ashland Police Detective Kim Mager, won recognition from Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and state law enforcement for her work for Shop With a Cop.
